Learning To Live Again
I chose motivation for today's blog because it seems to
me most of my friends and even some of my family are
having problems to motivate themselves this time of the
year.
First what is motivation:
1. The reason for an action, acheiving something with a plan.
2. A purpose to pursue something which lights our fire deep
inside to live again Motivation or Lack of Motivation is a very
interesting part of all our lives, everyone sometime in their lives
will face the feelings of not being able to motivate themselves to
do the things they need and wish to do. There are many reasons
a person might not have the desire and feels motivated to do the
things in ones life, long term stress often is one of the biggest reasons
for most people today to lack the motivation at times. Also when
you live in the northern part of the USA, the long winters has a lot
to do with this as well.
As for me in my past I lacked motivation for many years after my divorce,
losing everything of importance to me at that time I just could not find the
desire or purpose to be motivated to do anything even learning to live all over
again. Emotional abuse or emotional stress is a very major trigger for many
of us for depression and lack of motivation, if your feeling this way I hope you
can smile or at least give me a half smile to know you are not a rare
species and you are not alone in the way your feeling if this is happening
for you.
Dreams
I find you must work very persistent to find ways to keep your desires high
and your doing this it will trigger more motivation in your life, nothing uplifts
us as much as meeting new people or/and doing something new. We must
always keep our dreams alive and have new dreams to work towards
to spice up our mood and lives, if you have been low on motivation for
some time as I was in my past we probably share some depression as well
as an obstacle to finding how to add a new passion or purpose in our lives
but when a person has no dreams any longer they are not living they are
only existing which is a very bad thing to experience for anyone.
Once you have new passions or dreams again in your lives then you can
move on to make some plans on how to acheive your new purpose and
desires in your life.
1. Write down what your new purpose in your life might be now, many
people allow anxiety/depression and very negative self talk to allow us
thinking the how we will ever accomplish this as impossible and not even
worth trying but once you focus on what it is you desire most and start a
plan to achieve this your motivation will increase and before you realize it
your motivated once again.
2. Next this new desire or purpose in your life has to be something
which gives you very much passion deep with inside of you, for me
my motivation is towrite to help others weather it is through my blogging
websites or through email to my friends and family this is what is
giving me the passion to live again after years of self doubt and bad
self talk I overcome this obstacle in my life and so you can by just
dreaming again for a future which will give you whatever you might
need to be happy and healthy once again.
3. You must learn to love yourself again and light that fire deep inside
again which allows you to be motivated and with a purpose in your life.
