I do love this baby blessing plaque, you know how special babies are they seem to bring out the best out of most everyone. I never did understand why they would say to bring a baby into a bad marriage & it would make the marriage better, if I remember right when my sons were babies they needed much of my ex wives attention as infants & if your marriage was on thin ice in the first place would this not make things much worse between the husband & wife?

Raising a family is a very stressful thing to do today, financially it takes so much income just to feed a family not taking in account for their recreational budget costs today. I for one would hesitate having a large family today, most of the  wives/mothers have careers as well as the fathers and its a must to raise a family today. Health Care is going out of control, every year my insurance company is paying less and less so my co-pays are going higher n higher, that is not even counting they are covering less of my prescriptions and children catch every cold and flu going around.

Retail is robbing us blind on children's products and holiday products, many people I know are celebrating less and less on the holidays as they use too just because its too expensive. People with children are pretty much in a bad situation the retailers advertise so the children want all the new products on the market, you don't want your son/daughter to be the only one not to have the new product on the market this Xmas so you charge-charge & charge until your in the hole very deep from Xmas. At least your son/daughter is happy, they are happy are they not?

How about your children once they become teenagers, terrible teens is being nice without a doubt. Some of the teenagers today are down right mean, many have no manners at all but lets not stereo type all teenagers in this way. My sons are in their mid 30's today, but they were pretty good as teenagers compared to most where I live. They were not into drugs, of course they did sneak around and try alcohol & smoking, but none of them do either today so they came out alright. They all have decent jobs, not fancy careers but steady jobs so I am proud of them for that. I feel very lucky I would not wish to be young again as a young parent today, life is just too stressful with too many worries for young parents today even where I live drugs are around every corner if you know where to look.I live in a rural area, just outside of a small country town & there were two drug busts recently (drug labs), so don't be so sure where you live you know your neighbors as well as you might think they just could be making drugs or doing harm to the children in your neighborhood in some way.
