Lucky for me I have never been a materialistic person, oh I love my material toys
as much as any other person maybe even more since most of my life I have had
to play alone but there is more to life then the material things in our lives. The way
I have always looked at it things can be replaced as the people we love can not
be replaced, as much as we might try to replace that ex girlfriend or ex husband or
ex wife we will never replace them we might find new partners or remarry but
those will be new relationships not ever truly replacing our ex's in our lives.
Losing material things or/and the people we love make us stronger though these
very emotional experiences in our lives, when my ex abandoned me when I was
very ill I thought I would never survive alone at my worse time of my entire life
but here I am battling back not only from my emotional loss of losing her love
but also battling my chronic illness which will never leave me and more likely will
only give me more challenges as time goes on in my life but I have faith I will
survive anything this illness throws at me the very best I am able every single day
of my entire life.
Positive thinking is a very powerful tool to have in your emotional tool box to
battle the obstacles life throws at us, we must use our self talk and truly believe
ourselves when we keep telling ourselves these words over and over:
I will survive this emotional time in my life as the others in my past, this will
only make me stronger and wiser and a much better person. I will make it
thought this, this will not break me I am much stronger then this. End each
